“At what age can I take my newborn baby outside for the first time”

Whether you're thinking of going outside, inside, or high up in the sky, a good rule of thumb is to stay away from crowds of people until your baby is 6 to 8 weeks of age if at all possible.

According to most pediatric health experts, infants can be taken out in public or outside right away as long as parents follow some basic safety precautions. There's no need to wait until 6 weeks or 2 months of age. Getting out, and in particular, getting outside in nature, is good for parents and babies.

It is completely safe and beneficial for the baby to be outdoors, as long as you keep it protected from direct sun exposure for too long.
